Photographs taken by Chalky appeared in books that were published about the story behind the making of the Unipart Calendars. He became expert in Black & White processing and printing, and produced the prints for Patrick's exhibitions and book projects (“The Most Beautiful Women”, The Royal Album and Lichfield in Retrospect). During the late 1980's Chalky started to get his own freelance photographic commissions from clients such as Rayne Shoes and Glaxo, Smith Klein and in 1990 he left Lichfield's Studio to set up on his own as a London based freelance photographer. |
His clients now include The Landmark London, The Royal Garden Hotel, BDL Hotels, Somerston Hotels, Kew Green Hotels, IHG brands (Holiday Inns, Express by Holiday Inns and Crown Plazas), Ramada Hotels and Ramada Encore Hotels. Chalky, with his experience and talent for reportage photography, also takes commissions for Corporate Events, which can include producing digital albums. His clients have included Pepsi Cola and Bloomberg. |
